Angry birds research

Here is a game which basically everyone knows called angry birds.
its a very simple game which many people have as an app on their phone.
I want to make my game as fun and entertaining as this in its own way.
I like the graphics they use in this because theyre simple but very well done.


I also think the game i'm creating could make a franchise as big as angry birds,
I can see lots of different versions of my puppet game coming out, where the themes change and the games can be different. there could be many possibilities for the game. I can also see other products selling, aswell as hand puppets designed like my characters.

Here is little big planet, this game gave me alot of inspiration for the intitial idea and look of my game.
they use little sack puppets as characters, and the stage and scenery feels to me liek a 3d puppet stage.
with my game i'm making for my final major project it will be alot more cartoony though.

Research into other games

Here is a game called plants vs zombies, I think it became really popular because of how great the design of it looks, with funny looking zombies and cute plants; it also has a very addictive game play which could be played for hours on end.

I really like this graphic style because it seems more appealing to the audience whereas if it was more realistic or less humourous then it may not have sparked as much interest. The game was created by Popcap games, who i feel have allways created entertaining and addictive games which have their own unique style.
